Automate Google Sheets with Pokee AI
Spreadsheets are powerful but keeping them updated from other tools is pure manual labor. Pokee connects to Google Sheets via one-click OAuth and turns your spreadsheets into live dashboards that update automatically from CRM, email, and project data.
What Pokee Can Do with Google Sheets
- Read, write, and update cells, rows, and columns across multiple sheets
- Auto-populate spreadsheets with data from CRM, email, analytics, or any connected tool
- Generate formatted reports from sheet data and distribute via email or Slack
- Monitor sheets for changes and trigger follow-up actions in other tools
- Clean, deduplicate, and organize messy data
- Create new spreadsheets from templates with pre-filled data
- Cross-reference data between sheets and external sources
- Build calculated summaries with week-over-week or month-over-month comparisons
Example Workflows

CRM to Sheet Sync
Time saved: ~5 minutes per deal, 2+ hours per week for active sales teamsZero manual data entry. Every closed deal appears in your tracker instantly with all relevant fields populated.
Prompt“When a new deal closes in HubSpot, add a row to my Revenue Tracker sheet with company name, deal value, close date, account owner, and deal source. Calculate the running total in column G.”
- 2
Overdue Invoice Alerts
Time saved: ~45 minutes every MondayPokee scans your sheet, identifies overdue items, generates personalized (not templated) follow-up emails using context from the spreadsheet, and queues them for your review.
Prompt“Every Monday at 9am, check my Invoices sheet for anything overdue by 7+ days. For each overdue entry, draft a follow-up email to the client using their name, company, and invoice number from the sheet. Show me drafts before sending.”
- 3
Weekly Metrics Reporting
Time saved: ~90 minutes every FridayAutomated reporting with calculations and distribution. No more Friday afternoon spent building the same report manually.
Prompt“Every Friday at 3pm, pull this week's data from my KPI sheet. Compare to last week. Calculate growth percentages for revenue, signups, and churn. Format as a summary and post to #metrics in Slack.”
- 4
Lead Enrichment
Time saved: ~10 minutes per leadPartial lead data gets enriched automatically. Your leads sheet goes from sparse to actionable without manual research.
Prompt“When a new row is added to my Leads sheet with just a company name, look up their website, estimate company size from LinkedIn, find the decision-maker's email, and fill in columns C through F.”
- 5
Inventory Monitoring
Time saved: 30 min/dayReal-time inventory monitoring without refreshing a dashboard. Proactive alerts before stockouts happen.

FAQ
- Can it handle multiple sheets and tabs?
- Yes. Pokee works across multiple Google Spreadsheets and specific tabs within them. Reference them by name or URL.
- What if I rename a column?
- Unlike Apps Script or Zapier (which break on structural changes), Pokee adapts. If a column is renamed, the agent finds the closest match and confirms with you before proceeding.
- Can it create charts or formatting?
- Pokee handles data operations (read, write, calculate, organize). For visual formatting and charts, it can populate the data that your existing chart references.
- How fast does it sync?
- Scheduled tasks run at your specified time. Event-triggered workflows (like "when a new row is added") execute within seconds of the trigger event.
- Can it handle large sheets (10,000+ rows)?
- Yes. Pokee processes spreadsheets at API speed, not row-by-row. Filtering and searching across large datasets is handled server-side.
